Vintage Home Furnishings is a small, family-owned restoration studio in Charlotte, North Carolina. Since 2018 we've been rescuing well-made vintage furniture and giving it a second life — one careful piece at a time.

Since 2018

From a Garage Workshop to a Beloved Studio.

It started with one wobbly armchair and a stubborn belief: that beautiful, honest furniture shouldn't be thrown away. Our founder found it at a Charlotte estate sale, restored it on a weekend, and fell in love with the craft.

Today our workshop on Cedar Lane restores sofas, tables, chairs and dressers for homes across America. Every piece is stripped, repaired, re-finished and quality-checked by hand — no reproductions, no shortcuts, and no two pieces ever alike.

We hand-pick honest, well-built pieces from estate sales, auctions and salvage lots — judging bones, not paint.

Strip & Repair

Old finishes come off, joints get tightened, and every structural flaw is fixed properly — not patched.

Hand-Finish

Water-based, low-VOC finishes and upholstery in our ventilated Charlotte workshop.
